Gossip Girl's Odd Couple. Isn't it Filthy?

Those rumors are true - Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford are a very odd couple.

Gay or not. But the co-starring Gossip Girl roomies definitely have an Odd Couple vibe going.

Chace Crawford is more than filthy - his slobbosity is off the charts, according to a spy.

“His apartment was a disgusting pigsty. There was crusty toothpaste and self-tanner all over the bathroom,” the late-night guest revealed to the NY Daily News.

“In the rest of the apartment, beer bottles and boxers just laying around.”

But there was an oasis of cleanliness in this vast desert of disarray - roomie Ed Westwick’s space.

“Ed’s room was pristine,” the spy divulged. “Everything in it was perfectly in order.”

Something fishy is going on!

We've been contacted by entertainment reporters - within days of each other - from the NY Post and the NY Daily News.

They both wanted to share a juicy piece of info - too juicy to print, they said.

Seems like on-set sources, which the pubs tell us are reliable, have told each paper that Chace Crawford and Gossip Girl co-star and real-life roommate Ed Westwick are in a relationship and not trying to hide it, at least on set.

BOTH NY papers tell us that Chace and Ed were recently seen kissing, open-mouthed on set (in Chace's trailer).

Very interesting!

The Post and Daily News both declined to publish this item because they don't like to "out" people.

Uh huh. We find that quite hypocritical, as both papers have had no problem talking about Lindsay Lohan's relationship with saMAN Ronson.

Well, it's either true or someone(s) is/are trying to spread rumors to both New York papers about the Gossip Girl co-stars.

We hope it's true - they'd be a hot couple!

It’s the rumor that never dies: Chase Crawford and Ed Westwick being a young, hot couple. Are they one? You decide... The Gossip Girl hotties were reported making out in a LA night club this weekend.

A witness said the two hunky actors were all over each other at a LA club Saturday, but the source couldn’t confirm if they were just having a good time hanging out together, or if it was something more going on between them.

Recently Ed Westwick commented on the romance rumors with Chace Crawford: “It’s very comical. We’re two lads who are very close friends, but we’re straight as they come.”

Meanwhile, Chace is rumoured or officially (you choose from those 2 crosses) to be dating Charlie’s Angels star, Drew Barrymore.
